Blogger Japhet Omojuwa has said the dragging of former Vice President Atiku Abubakar by Obidient Movement over the loss of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in the just-concluded FCT council elections is just a diversionary tactics.

ADC candidates in the election performed woefully, with the ruling All Progressives Congress clearing five seats while the Peoples Democratic Party won one.

Since the results were released, members of the Obidient Movement, who are supporters of former presidential candidate Peter Obi, gave been attacking Atiku, blaming him for the loss.

However, Omojuwa, in a post on X, revealed where the blame ought to be directed at.

He said, "The way they have been dragging Atiku, if you don’t know how they play, you could get confused as to why.

"They are focusing their dragging on Atiku because not to do that is to force them to see reality. What’s the reality?

"The Abuja elections were built on Peter Obi’s reputation. The Obidient side of the collision was responsible for delivering Abuja and they failed woefully. Forget Dr Mo and his 6 votes. Even he, when alone, he go dey vex for Peter Obi, 'you should have just paid for the groundnut bro'.

"To not drag Atiku (and Trump, and Dr Mo himself, and INEC, and Tinubu, and me and you lol) is to put them in a position where they are forced to look in the mirror. And if there is anything Obidients hate more than Tinubu, it is to put them in a position where they are face to face with a clean and clear mirror."
