Senator Adams Oshiomhole has sparked reactions after his comments during a Channels Television interview where he defended the government’s economic reforms.
In response to a question about whether the promised radical reforms came at the cost of the average Nigerian, Oshiomhole said, “The truth is we promised radical reforms.” When pressed further, he dismissed the idea of reforms h¥rting ordinary citizens, asking, “Who are the average persons? You pick these things from the mouth of the people.”
He went on to challenge the host, saying, “Have you gone to see people complaining? There are Nigerians now saying food is becoming too cheap.”
Oshiomhole also insisted that the host's concerns lacked evidence, maintaining that the claims made were largely speculative and not backed by verified facts.
