A chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has said some members of the African Democratic Party (ADC), joined by former presidential candidate Peter Obi, cannot win elections.

This was after photos surfaced showing some ADC members welcoming Obi to the party.

Some of those in the photos included former vice president Atiku Abubakar, Emeka Ihedioha, David Mark, and ex-governor Aminu Tambuwal, among others.

In a Facebook post, Igbokwe said, "So these are the people that will unseat PBAT? These ones I am seeing here? Some of them I see here cannot win their polling booths? Some of them are koboless to drive anything. They do not have electoral values. They do not know how to build bridges. They do not know how to invest in people . We play too much in this Country. Yoruba will say, 'Eniti Omo Oba Lofi Oba Sere'. They do not know PBAT. Ignore PBAT to your peril. I know him very well. Till 2031!!!"
