Getafe president Angel Torres has reportedly decided to recall Super Eagles midfielder Christantus Uche from his loan deal at Crystal Palace.
The 22-year-old joined the Eagles on a season-long loan in the summer from the La Liga outfit.
A mandatory purchase clause was inserted in the deal for the Nigerian international if certain conditions are met.
However, it remains highly unlikely for the conditions that will warrant a permanent deal to be met, considering the limited amount of playing time for Uche.
While there is still a chance for the current situation to change for the player, Getafe president Torres has stated that Getafe will welcome Uche back to the club.
“He’d be welcome back if he returns,” Torres was quoted by Tribal Football.
Uche has made just four appearances since joining Oliver Glasner's side in the summer.
