Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), Dele Momodu, has reacted to the viral confrontation between the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, and Lieutenant A.M. Yerima, a naval officer, over a land dispute in Abuja.

Momodu, in his reaction to the viral video, faulted the FCT Minister, stating that he has always cautioned him about his lack of anger management.

According to him, Wike, who was once his ally, has “wreaked havoc” in Abuja and has a penchant for land grabbing.

He made the comment in a post on his Instagram page following the viral altercation.

He wrote: “He whom the gods want to destroy, they first make mad... I had warned Minister Nyesom Wike endlessly about his lack of anger management, but he never worked on himself. Too much alcohol is also not good for him—physically, mentally, and spiritually. It is the reason for his Messianic complex. When anyone has found favour and mercy in the Lord, he should learn not to play God.”

“Wike has wreaked enough havoc in Abuja with his penchant for land grabbing and primitive accumulation of wealth, which actually intoxicates him more than his alcoholism. He deserves the President’s pity, prayers, and urgent therapy in a rehab. What a tragic hero.”
