Nigerian international Ademola Lookman starred as Atalanta played out a 1-1 draw with AC Milan on Tuesday, October 28.
The 26-year-old opened his goal account for the season, scoring the equaliser for Ivan Jurić’s side in what was a thrilling encounter with the Rossoneri at the Gewiss Stadium.
Lookman levelled the score for La Dea after Samuele Ricci had given Massimiliano Allegri’s side an early lead in the 6th minute.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year has struggled to rediscover his form from last season following his fallout with the club, which resulted in his absence from pre-season.
Speaking in his post-match reaction, the Super Eagles winger stated that he will get better with more matches.
“I’ve not been able to find form yet, physically or in front of goal, but I’ll get there eventually, and this was a step forward in the right direction.
Hopefully, in the coming games, we’ll be able to get some wins,” Lookman told DAZN Italia.
