A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, Joe Igbokwe, has said detained leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, is a monster with no brain and character.
In a Facebook post, Igbokwe lamented that his Igbo people once worshipped Kanu as if he were a god, adding that his words became law in the Southeast.
"Our people worshipped him more than God. He became a monster. He decided who must die and who must live. His words became laws of the Southeast. Nnamdi Kanu has no brain, no character, no home training. He has been a full-loaded Trailer without break. He is just an arrogant loudmouth, all noise and no substance, full of sound and fury signifying something. He is overrated," he said.
MyNigeria recently reported about a viral audio in which Kanu said he could decide who lives or dies.
The IPOB leader also stated that he could play God, describing himself as a very powerful man with millions under his command.
The audio must have been an excerpt of his numerous broadcasts on his pirate radio station, Radio Biafra.
He said, "As the leader of IPOB, I'm a very powerful man. I know that very well. I can decide who lives or who dies. I can decide to play God if I want to.
"I have over two million men under my command. I can destroy anywhere I want to have destroyed."
Kanu is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) and is being tried for terrorism and treasonable felony.
The Federal Government has closed its case before a Federal High Court in Abuja, and Kanu has been ordered to open his defence after his no-case submission was dismissed by the court.
