A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress Joe Igbokwe has said the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB}, Nnamdi Kanu, is okay health wise.
Kanu is currently in the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS) as he faces terrorism and treasonable felony charges in court
There have been calls for his release of late on the grounds of deteriorating health. Some are even clamouring for him to be transferred from DSS custody to a federal hospital.
However, Igbokwe believes claims about Kanu's health are false.
In a Facebook post, he reminded those seeking his release to remember that his actions led to the death of thousands in the Southeast.
"Let me drop this here this morning for all Igbo in Nigeria and diaspora to know . Nnamdi Kanu is 110% ok. Let us not deceive ourselves. Let us speak the truth for once and shame the devil. Nnamdi killed our people in thousands and businesses," Igbokwe said.
