Fani-Kayode wants terrorists sent back to hell over Kwara killings

Former minister of aviation Femi Fani-Kayode has called for necessary measures to ensure that terrorists are sent back to hell.

Fani-Kayode said this while condemning the terrible attack by terrorists on Oke Ode, a community in North Central Nigeria's Kwara State, which took place two days ago and in which 12 members of a local forest guard were killed and the entire community traumatised.

"I do not regard those that commit these horrendous attacks and inexplicable and unconscionable atrocities as mere bandits but rather as homicidal maniacs and blood-lusting terrorists," he said in a statement on Wednesday.

"A few days ago they unleashed hell on our people in Zamfara State where they attacked and killed five innocent worshippers in a mosque and two days ago they have done same to 12 innocent forest guards in Kwara."

He, however, acknowledged that security agencies have done their very best to stem the tide, "and we must commend and encourage them for this.

"We must also assist them in the fight by rising to the occasion and accepting the fact that the onslaught against our sovereignty and people is an age-old agenda which is being orchestrated and funded by certain identifiable foreign powers and intelligence agencies who are working in tandem with their local assets, co-conspirators and collaborators and seek to divide, destabilise and ultimately dismember our nation.

"I call on our people to assist our security agencies to identify who these local collaborators are and I join the Governor of Kwara in calling for a greater military presence in his state.

"The only way to handle terrorists is to kill every single one of them and send them back to hell.

"There can be no negotiation or discussion with psychopaths and the sons of perdition who kill innocent women and children at will and for gain and pleasure.

"There can be no compromise or understanding with those that target and kill defenceless civilians and that seek to destroy our nation."
