Victor Osimhen, on Tuesday, September 30, made history by becoming the first Nigerian international to hit double figures in goals in the UEFA Champions League.

The 26-year-old scored the only goal as Galatasaray stunned Premier League title holders Liverpool by a lone goal at Rams Park.

It was the 26-year-old's 10th goal in the prestigious European competition.

Osimhen netted two Champions League goals at Lille, seven at Napoli during his three-season spell, and now one at Galatasaray.

The former African Footballer of the Year is well ahead of other Nigerian players in terms of goals in the UCL.
