Rivers United captain, Temple Emekayi, has expressed the team’s determination to secure victory in the CAF Champions League preliminary round second leg clash against FS Les Aigles.

Emekayi said the players are fully prepared and eager to give their all when they face the visitors at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium on Sunday.

“All the players are lively and we can’t wait for the game because we are hungry for victory against the FS Les Aigles side,” he told Rivers United’s media.

The skipper assured supporters that their loyalty would be rewarded.
“We want to let the fans know that we won’t let them down, since we know the job is half done in Congo. Their support will motivate us to go all out in the game.”

With the first leg ending in a goalless draw, Rivers United must win to advance to the next round of the competition.
