Nigerian international Victor Osimhen is reportedly set to feature for Galatasaray in their UEFA Champions League opener against Bundesliga outfit Eintracht Frankfurt on Thursday, September 18.

The 26-year-old has not featured for the Yellow and Reds since returning to Turkey after sustaining an ankle injury in Nigeria's clash with Rwanda during the World Cup qualifiers.

The former Napoli striker subsequently missed Nigeria's 1-1 draw against South Africa in Bloemfontein.

Reports from Turkey indicate that the former African Footballer of the Year is ready to feature for the Turkish giants when they travel away to Frankfurt in the UCL.

However, a report from Spanish outlet Marca indicates that the Super Eagles striker was absent from Galatasaray training on Monday. But according to Medya Haber, Osimhen will feature against Frankfurt.

The report adds that he will be in the starting lineup, as he has informed manager Okan Buruk of his readiness to return to action.

Osimhen has netted three goals in three appearances against the German side.
