Atalanta CEO Luca Percassi has disclosed that Ademola Lookman must show a commitment to play before he will be reinstated into the team.
Lookman has not featured for La Dea this season after falling out with the club over his intention to leave during the summer.
The 28-year-old declared his intention not to play for Atalanta again after the club failed to sanction his move to Serie A rivals Inter Milan.
The reigning African Footballer of the Year is set to be sidelined again when Atalanta travel to face Paris Saint-Germain in the UEFA Champions League on Wednesday, September 17.
Percassi has stated that the 28-year-old must show his desire to play for the club before he will be considered for selection.
“We know how important Lookman is for Atalanta, but the club has some very basic principles, which need players who are ready to give 100 percent for this jersey and totally concentrated on our cause, because every game is difficult,” Percassi told DAZN.
