A Commissioner-designate in Edo State, Kassim Afegbua, has taken a swipe at former presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for his single-term proposal to the African Democratic Congress (ADC) if he is elected in 2027.

Afegbua, a former governorship aspirant said the proposal was not only laughable but also impossible.

He made this statement on Wednesday, while responding to questions in ‘Sunrise Daily’, a programme on Channels Television, stressing that four years is not enough to transform Nigeria.

“Nobody should tell you he’s coming from the south to spend four years because for me that is just like telling a bogus lie.

“I know that it is not possible. One term is inadequate to turn things around positively in Nigeria,” he claimed.
