The English Football League has set the stage for a thrilling Carabao Cup third round after Wednesday’s draw produced mouth-watering ties.
Holders Newcastle United will be hosting League One side Bradford City at St James’ Park.
League Two giant-killers Grimsby Town, who stunned Manchester United in a penalty shootout at Blundell Park, will continue their fairytale journey with a trip to Championship outfit Sheffield Wednesday.
Elsewhere, Manchester City begin their campaign away at Huddersfield Town, while Arsenal are handed a potentially tricky clash at League One Port Vale.
Chelsea will travel to Lincoln City, Tottenham Hotspur meet Doncaster Rovers, and Liverpool host Southampton in a heavyweight Anfield showdown.
The third-round fixtures will be played across the weeks of 15 and 22 September, coinciding with Champions League and Europa League group-stage action.
