Nigerian international Victor Osimhen has returned to training ahead of his second debut with Galatasaray.

The 26-year-old is set to feature for the Turkish champions against Karagümrük this weekend after missing their league opener against Gaziantep.

Despite Osimhen's absence, the Turkish title holders secured a convincing 3–0 victory to set off their title defense campaign on a blistering note.

According to Galatasaray boss Okan Buruk, the Super Eagles striker was left out of the team to afford him ample time to gain full fitness for the second game.

As per The Telgraf, Buruk has revealed plans to ease Osimhen back into action.

Reports indicate that Barış Yılmaz is expected to start the game up front, with Victor Osimhen expected to come on in the second half.

Osimhen had a remarkable campaign with Galatasaray during his loan spell last season, registering 37 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions.
