Peter Obi dragging KWAM 1 shows how tribalistic he is - Reno Omokri

Former presidential aide Reno Omokri has accused ex-governor Peter Obi of being tribalistic due to his comment on the airport conduct of Fuji musician, Wasiu Ayinde, popularly known as KWAM 1.

MyNigeria reported that KWAM 1 recently behaved rudely by attempting to stop a private jet from taxiing at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja.

While he apologised and received a six-month ban from flying, one Comfort Emmanson was given a lifetime ban for fighting the staff of Ibom Air on Sunday. Emmanson was also charged in court and remanded in Kirikiri Prison.

Reacting, Obi described the situation as double standards, forcing a reaction from Omokri, who wrote on Facebook: "Over a week ago, a promising young entrepreneur meshed Ifesinachi Onyekere, popularly known as Fish Magnet was abducted and killed in Anambra, but because it is Igboland, Peter Obi said nothing. But now that something has happened in Lagos, Peter Obi has found his voice.

"He is now using the incident as an excuse to drag King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, AKA K1 De Ultimate.

"This is in line with Obi's tribalistic character. That is Peter Obi's regular trademark. If it happens in Igboland, Obi will suddenly become deaf, dumb, and blind. But if it occurs in the North or Southwest, Peter Obi will dance naked in public."

In another post, he said, "Peter, must you politicise everything? Insinuating that King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall, AKA K1 De Ultimate, "visibly held a plane from taking off and put hundreds of lives at risk is still at large" is a blatant lie!

"K1 De Ultimate's actions were wrong, and he apologised for them. However, he never 'put hundreds of lives at risk'.

"The ValueJet flight was never in any physical danger from King Wasiu Ayinde Marshall. Rather, it was K1 De Ultimate whose life was at risk when the pilot of that ValueJet flight did not follow aviation safety rules and proceeded to take off while there were persons on the runway, either because she did not see K1 De Ultimate from the cockpit, or for some other reason.

"Your habit of selecting people who are not of Igbo origin, like you, for targeted vilification, is becoming unbearably unbecoming.
On Wednesday, May 1, 2024, when Maryanne Moghalu threatened the economy of Lagos State, where you live, by saying, 'Invest in Lagos at your own peril,' you did not chide her. Instead, three days after the incident, you went on a solidarity visit to her house.

"Also, on Sunday, April 1, 2023, when a notorious Obidient follower of yours disrupted a Lagos-bound flight in Abuja, after shouting 'Tinubu must not be sworn in as President', and then calling on Obidients to join him, you said nothing.

"This woman, Miss Comfort Emmanson, may or may not have had grounds for her behaviour, but the fact remains that she resisted lawful authority in the person of NCAA and FAAN staff and was violent.

"That was not the case with K1 De Ultimate. Moreover, King Wasiu Ayinde Marshal apologised. Something that you were not brave enough to do after your 'Yes Daddy' audio promising religious war against the Muslim Ummah.

"And you who could not apologise for your leaked audio are now apologising! In exactly what capacity are you apologising to the Ibom air crew? Are you the Aviation Minister or the NCAA DG?

"Peter, if you want to be an Igbo President, come out and say it. Because your one-sidedness against people not of Igbo origin is becoming as glaring as the midday sun."
