Nigerian striker Kelechi Iheanacho has returned to training at Sevilla amid speculation surrounding his future at the club.

The 28-year-old joined the Rojiblancos as a free agent last summer following the conclusion of his contract with Leicester City.

Iheanacho made just nine La Liga appearances and two in the Copa del Rey.

He registered three goals for the club—all coming in the Copa del Rey.

After struggling to find his footing under former manager García Pimienta, the Super Eagles striker was loaned out to Middlesbrough in the Sky Bet Championship in January.

With a new manager at the helm, the former Manchester City man could be handed a second chance at the Ramón Sánchez Pizjuán under Matías Almeyda.
