Edoardo De Laurentiis, son of Napoli President Aurelio De Laurentiis, has reportedly received a death threat from a Galatasaray fan over Victor Osimhen's delayed move to the Turkish league.

The fan, who introduced himself as “Turkish mafya,” threatened Edoardo, who also serves as vice president at Napoli with dire consequences should the Serie A club fail to release Osimhen to Galatasaray.

The threat was reportedly sent via WhatsApp from an unknown number, according to Edoardo.

"Let Osimhen go or you're finished," the fan wrote, as disclosed by Edoardo.

"You and your dad will pay for this. Be careful," he added.

In response, Edoardo stated that he would report the incident to the police.

This development comes amid Napoli's rejection of Galatasaray's fourth bid for Victor Osimhen.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, “Napoli asked for €40m now plus €35m to be paid by 2026, plus a sell-on clause. Galatasaray want to pay €35m by 2027 and refuse to include a sell-on clause.”
