Former presidential candidate Peter Obi has made a mockery of the Fun City built in Anambra State by Governor Chukwuma Soludo.

According to Obi, who once governed Anambra State, Soludo's Fun City can't be compared to the brewery he built during his tenure.

It is worth recalling that in 2022, Soludo criticised Obi by stating that his investment in Anambra State as governor, which includes a brewery, is worth next to nothing.

He said on Channels TV’s Politics Today, “…by the way the one (investment) that you’re talking about, I don’t know anything about that. I think there was something I read about somebody speculating about whatever investment. With what I’ve seen today, the value of those investments is worth next to nothing. So, let’s leave that aside.”

After years of silence, Obi took a swipe at Soludo's recently commissioned amusement park, comparing it with the brewery his administration built.

He spoke in Igbo during a campaign for the Labour Party candidate seeking to unseat Soludo in 2025: “The brewery I built in Anambra State gives thousands of people employment. The company is the highest tax payer in Anambra State. Now compare that to ‘Fun City’.”
