KRC Genk striker Tolu Arokodare has disclosed that he is a Manchester United fan amid speculations linking him with a move to the Premier League.

The 24-year-old has emerged as one of the transfer targets for Manchester United, according to recent reports.

Arokodare is expected to leave Genk this summer after an impressive campaign in the Belgian Jupiler Pro League.

The Super Eagles striker won the Golden Boot award after netting 21 goals in 40 appearances for Genk across the regular season and playoffs.

Manchester United are in the market for a number 9 after their poor performance in front of goal last season.

The Red Devils have set their sights on Victor Osimhen, Viktor Gyökeres, Hugo Ekitike, and Bryan Mbeumo.

However, as per recent reports, Arokodare has also emerged as a more affordable option for Ruben Amorim's side.

Reacting to the rumours surrounding his future, Arokodare stated that it would be a dream to play for the Red Devils.

“Obviously, it’s a dream to play in the Premier League, but I have my eyes on it for sure.

“Whatever options I have, I’ll take my time and make the best decision.

“I’m a Manchester United fan, and if it happens, it would mean a lot to me and my family.”
