Activist IG Wala has questioned the value of Vice President Kashim Shettima and the Muslim-Muslim coin of the year 2023 to President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

Recall that the Tinubu/Shettima ticket was a Muslim--Muslim ticket that allegedly attracted the north to vote for Tinubu in the 2023 presidential election.

However, IG Wala has expressed the belief that such a coin may have dropped in value due to a recent cry from Shettima's base about a likely sidelining by Tinubu ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

He said on Facebook, "VP Shettima is the one side of the Muslim Muslim coin used in the 2023 presidential election. Today, of what value is that coin in the 2027 presidential transaction & who are the highest bidders?"

IG Wala also expressed the belief that the 2023 election was won not because of the ticket, further exposing why Shettima may no longer be Tinubu's running mate in 2027.

He said, "It was nothing but a haphazard decision to launch the Muslim Muslim ticket in 2023 as if that was the only way to win the election. After all, we all saw that it was never the reason why the election was won; instead, it's a crack that widened the existing gap between religious groups, sects and regions in Nigeria today. What a lesson to us and we hope when next you are putting your personal interest on a national agenda, make sure you have a viable exit plan.
Now that we are all united by the killings and ransom payment across all regions and all religions, what next?"
