It has emerged that Premier League teams have reservations about signing Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen.
For the last two summers, Osimhen has been the subject of a lot of transfer speculation, but he is yet to land a big move.
Across the last three seasons with Napoli and Galatasaray, the Super Eagles striker has scored 85 goals and provided 17 assists in 112 matches.
Osimhen was on the verge of a move to Chelsea last summer, but was unable to sort out personal terms with the Blues.
The 26-year-old has also been linked with Arsenal and Manchester United.
Osimhen spent last season on loan at Galatasaray, but will be seeking a permanent move this summer.
British football transfer expert, David Orstein, speaking on The Athletic Football podcast, claimed that some English clubs are indeed interested in Osimhen.
However, they have concerns about his character and his profile.
Osimhen has had clashes with several coaches he has worked with, including Finidi George, Luciano Spalletti and Rudi Garcia.
They are also unwilling to meet his current wages. Osimhen currently earns around €200,000 net per week, and he is unwilling to go below that.
For any English club to pay him that much, it would take his gross earnings above €300,000 per week due to the high tax rates in England.
