The inaugural expanded edition of the FIFA Club World Cup is officially underway, following the conclusion of four matches on Sunday, June 15.

The tournament kicked off with Lionel Messi’s Inter Miami facing African champions Al Ahly in the opening game.

Despite a highly entertaining contest, the match ended in a goalless draw at the Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.

However, the subsequent games were filled with goals, as Bayern Munich demolished Auckland City 10-0.

Jamal Musiala secured a hat-trick, while Kingsley Coman and Thomas Müller both netted braces, as the Bundesliga champions ruthlessly dispatched their New
Zealand opponents.

Meanwhile, European champions Paris Saint-Germain cruised past Atlético Madrid with a commanding 4-0 victory in the final game on Sunday.

Midfield duo Fabián Ruiz and Vitinha opened the scoring, before Senny Mayulu and Lee Kang-in added two more to seal a convincing win for Luis Enrique’s side.
