Top European clubs, including Real Madrid, Paris Saint-Germain, Chelsea, and others, will be eyeing glory when the inaugural FIFA Club World Cup tournament kicks off this weekend in the United States.
Football governing body FIFA has expanded the competition to 32 teams, scheduling it to be held every four years.
The best-performing football clubs from across the continents will now be placed into groups of eight to compete in the new format.
The maiden edition will feature top stars such as Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe, Harry Kane, Jude Bellingham, and Erling Haaland, with an incredible $100 million cash prize up for grabs for the winning team.
