The federal lawmaker representing Kaduna North, Bello El-Rufai, is not going the way of his father, a former governor of Kaduna State, Nasir El-Rufai, concerning President Bola Tinubu.
This is because Bello was seen at the All Progressives Congress (APC) event where party members endorsed Tinubu for a second term in office.
His father is currently building a coalition to unseat Tinubu in the 2027 presidential election after he fell out with the President.
Part of his move had seen him defect from the APC to the Social Democratic Party (SDP).
Reacting to his son's position, former presidential aide, Reno Omokri, wondered how the ex-governor would be able to convince Nigerians against Tinubu when he hasn't been able to do the same to his son, Bello.
Omokri wrote, "Even el-Rufai's first son is for President Tinubu. If el-Rufai cannot convince his son to abandon Tinubu, is it Nigerians he can convince?"
