Lere Olayinka, an aide to the Minister of the FCT, Nyesom Wike, has said kidnapper Yahaya Zango would have been in Saudi Arabia stoning Satan had it not been that he was arrested.

Zango was arrested at the Hajj Camp in Abuja during pilgrim screenings ahead of their departure to Saudi Arabia.

Zango, who resides in the Paikon-Kore area of the Gwagwalada Area Council in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), had reportedly been declared wanted by security agencies over his alleged involvement in multiple kidnapping incidents.

He was apprehended after he presented his passport as part of a group of Muslim pilgrims from Abuja preparing to embark on the 2025 Hajj pilgrimage.

Reacting, Olayinka said on X, 'If Kidnapper Yahaya Zango was not arrested at the Airport, he for dey Saudi Arabia now, stoning Satan. Imagine!"
