Nigerian international Cyriel Dessers has won the Scottish Premiership Football League (SPFL) Golden Boot award for the 2024/25 season.

The 30-year-old found the net as Rangers played out a 2-2 draw against Hibernian at Easter Road on Saturday, May 17.

The Super Eagles striker scored 18 goals in 35 league appearances for the Gers.

The former Cremonese forward finished two goals ahead of his closest competitors, Simon Murray of Dundee United and Daizen Maeda of Celtic.

Dessers has become the first Rangers player to claim the Golden Boot award since Alfredo Morelos in 2017-18 season.
