A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Joe Igbokwe, has accused the proscribed indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB) of burning 12 trucks in Imo State.
A video shared on his Facebook page showed the heavy-duty vehicles burning after they were torched.
This was as he lamented that nobody is saying anything about the dastardly act, adding that the Southeast region is known for conspiracy of silence.
He wrote, "About 12 heavy-duty trucks were burnt by IPOB fraudsters at Umuna Onuimo, Imo State yesterday and nobody is hearing anything. Conspiracy of silence is the norm in the South East and bandits are exploiting it to the letter. May we continue to play."
He added, "South East ebewu oooooooo. Jisienu Ike ooooooo. Tomorrow we will be shouting about being marginalised. Ndi ara akwu eke."
Reacting, one Ikechukwu Emeka Onyia II said, "How can you say conspiracy of silence in what many are condemning? Those trucks are even from Igbo brothers that these already defeated idiots destroyed."
Igbokwe replied, saying, "When we are ready, we will take back Igboland from criminals who said they are fighting for us. It is an organised business and it has nothing to do with self-determination."
