Nigerian international Moses Simon has been nominated for Ligue 1 Goal of the Season award.
Simon earned a spot in the nominees' list for his effort in Nantes' 1-0 win against Stade Rennes last Christmas.
This was after he dribbled past three defenders before slotting the goal in.
It’s the first time he will be nominated for the individual accolade since arriving Nantes from Spanish club, Leganes in 2020.
Simon has enjoyed a good season with the club, registering seven goals and nine assists for the Canaries.
The other players nominated for the award include Maghnes Akliouche (Monaco), Amine Gouiri (Olympique de Marseille), Esteban Lepaul (Angers), and Andrey Santos (Strasbourg).
