Dr. Paul Enenche of Dunamis Church has said he agrees completely with people who are calling on communities to rise up and defend themselves.
The clergyman said this while leading prayers against insecurity and incessant killings currently going on in various parts of Nigeria,
Speaking, he said, "We agree with that position (that communities should defend themselves). You don't have to wait for government to supply you water if you don't have water, you dig your borehole. You don't have to wait for government to supply you water if you don't, you buy generator. And if government cannot supply you security?..."
He further tasked servicemen and ex servicemen who are members of these communities to rise up in defense of their indigenous homes.
Enenche said, "It's time for people to wake and rise, defend your communities and stand. You're a serviceman, ex serviceman in your community, you're there for such a time as this. What are all of you waiting for? If a matter is not confronted, it's not tackled."
