The Oluwo of Iwo, Oba Abdulrasheed Akanbi, has said he's the most talked about Yoruba king.

According to him, the reason is because he stands on the path of truth and honour.

"Many hate what I stand for. Truth is a bitter pill," the Oluwo of Iwo wrote on Facebook.

This was as he dismissed social media noises against him, saying they are "testimonies of answered prayers."

He added, "Social media noise is a strength. I've prayed that the world should not know peace until they talk about Iwo and Oluwo Adewale Akanbi Telu1.

"The noises in the media are testimonies of answered prayers. I thank you all for the unpaid popularity. I commend the haters for buying data at expensive amount to promote me. I need more of you to be known worldwide. You shall never know peace until you talk about me. The monarch said this days after raising the alarm that the Ooni of Ife is trying to dethroned him.

According to the monarch, those opposing him are doing so because of his disbelieve in traditional deities.
