Former Fenerbahçe star Tümer Metin has showered encomiums on Victor Osimhen, describing the Nigerian international as an incredible player for Galatasaray.

Osimhen, 25, has been in blistering form since joining the Turkish Super Lig giants from Napoli on a season-long loan last September.

The Super Eagles striker has so far registered nine goals and five assists in 12 appearances across all competitions for Okan Buruk's side.

Speaking with TV100, the former Fenerbahçe winger expressed his admiration for the former Lille striker's enthusiasm and hunger on the pitch.

“I liked Osimhen very much again. An incredible desire, an incredible enthusiasm, and an incredible search… I haven’t seen such hunger in a football player for a long time,” Metin said in a chat with Haber Sarı Kırmızı.

“He plays with a hunger that brings the same feeling to everyone. He supports his teammates, pulls them to his side, it’s like he’s gathering all the players around him with a rope around his waist. It’s an incredible image.

“I have seen very few football players with such a strong feeling at every moment of the match, so concentrated between those three posts. In other words, you fall apart in between.”
