Victor Boniface has become a sensation at Bayer Leverkusen since his move from Belgian side Royale Union SG to the German Bundesliga outfit in the summer of 2023.
His exceptional goal-scoring technique, speed, dribbling, and eye for passes have endeared him to football fans since joining the Bay Arena outfit.
The 23-year-old registered 21 goals and 10 assists across all competitions for Leverkusen, helping Die Werkself to a historic double, winning their first-ever Bundesliga title and the DFB Pokal.
In addition to his on-field performances, Boniface's distinctive goal celebration has also gained traction among some of the big names in world football.
Top players, including Real Madrid defender Antonio Rudiger, Boniface's Leverkusen teammate Jeremie Frimpong, and RB Leipzig's Xavi Simons, have all recently copied the celebration.
Interestingly, Boniface's Super Eagles teammates Troost-Ekong and Alex Iwobi have become the latest stars to join the challenge during Nigeria's training session ahead of their last AFCON qualifier encounter against Rwanda on Sunday, November 17.
