Fenerbahçe manager Jose Mourinho has showed keen interest in signing Ben Chilwell from Chelsea.

The former Leicester City full back is considered as surplus to requirements at Stamford Bridge under new Chelsea boss Enzo Maresca.

Despite the Blues agreeing to part ways with the England International this summer, no club showed interest before the transfer window closed last Friday.

With the transfer window still opened in Turkey, Chilwell could seal a loan move to the Turkish Super Lig or risk continuing training with the Blues reserve side for the next four months until January.

Mourinho, who joined Fenerbahçe in June following his dismissal as Roma boss in January have already secured some key signings ahead of his first season in the Turkish league.

Chilwell's addition will be a huge boost for the former Chelsea and Real Madrid boss.
