The spokesperson for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), SP Josephine Adeh, has expressed concern over the numerous verbal attacks police officers receive from Nigerians.
She noted that despite the sacrifices these personnel make to save and protect the lives citizens, they are underappreciated.
Taking to her X page on Thursday, August 22, 2024, to share her thoughts, SP Josephine wrote,
"I've come to realize that police work is often a thankless job. Despite all we do, including risking our lives, we still face criticism from the public. Our officers are out there day and night, ensuring the safety of citizens, yet their efforts often go unnoticed."
Her statement did not go unnoticed, as Nigerians trooped to her comment section to react. Some attributed their safety to God and not the Nigerian police.
Others criticised her for allegedly seeking social media fame instead of focusing on her job.

If it isn’t written on your job description, am afraid to inform you that you deserve to be given a query for demanding appreciation of any kind from services users in other to carry out your fully paid jobs. Remember, you willingly accepted your job offer.
