A video is circulating of Northern youths preparing for the upcoming nationwide protest.

The youths are protesting against the bad governance in the country, which has led to inflation, soaring food prices, high fuel prices, and insecurity.

The printed t-shirts displayed a list of demands for the government to address.

Nigerians in all 36 states have expressed their intention to protest the current state of the economy, which has been in decline since President Bola Tinubu assumed office and announced the removal of fuel subsidies.

As the hardship worsen, the youths have planned to begin the protest from August 1-10.

Despite the arrests of some youths in the northern states who are suspected to be part of the upcoming protests, residents in Kano continue to show resilience despite the intimidation from leaders.

Some Nigerians on social media have praised the northern youths for their bravery.
