Prince Harry and Meghan Markle commence their Nigerian tour

Prince Harry and his wife, Meghan Markle, touched down in Nigeria early on Friday morning, May 10, 2024, marking their inaugural visit to the West African nation. The royal couple is slated for a comprehensive 72-hour tour of the country.

Upon their arrival at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport via a British Airways flight, they were greeted with slight delays as the flight landed around 5 a.m., attributed to an unforeseen illness of the pilot.

The Duchess of Sussex had previously flown out to Heathrow on Thursday to rendezvous with Prince Harry, where they were both accommodated in the airport's exclusive VIP Windsor Suite.

In contrast to the general public, who experienced delays, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were promptly whisked away in a private, blacked-out minibus, ensuring their swift departure from the airport.
