Lawyer and presidential spokesperson for the Labour Party, Kenneth Okonkwo, has taken a swipe at the President Bola Tinubu’s government since he took over power from former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Speaking in an interview with Seun Okinbaloye on his Mic On Podcast, Okonkwo noted that he thought Buhari’s administration was going to be the worst, however, Tinubu surpassed it within nine months.

In the short promo clip of the interview, Okonkwo bemoaned the placement of the President’s children before the ministers on a protocol list during Tinubu’s trip to Qatar.

Yinka Tinubu and Seyi Tinubu were part of a delegation that accompanied President Tinubu on a state visit to Doha, Qatar.

Displeased by the act, Okonkwo described the incident as an eyesore. He also claims anarchy looms in the country following the recent happenings in Nigeria.

Furthermore, he raised concerns on the appointments in Tinubu’s government. According to him, Tinubu’s appointment is more focused on the Lagos axis of the Jagabanic proteges tainted with the ‘emilokan’ philosophy.

He said;

“Anarchy looms in Nigeria. Nigeria is not Lagos where you sit down and you decree things and you expect it to work that way.

You can’t compare gold with carrots. I thought Buhari’s regime was going to be the worst, nine months this government has surpassed it.

You know what it means when you place your children in order of protocol, before ministers of the federal republic of Nigeria. What do you call that? What do you call that eyesore?

You allow somebody to come to Aso Rock, sitting on the coat of arms to call our military men thieves.

This government in terms of appointment is just concentrating not even on the South West on the Lagos axis of the Jagabanic proteges tainted with the emilokan philosophy.”
