Arise TV presenter reacts as Osimhen’s new deal guarantees he will earn N206m weekly

Victor Osimhen, the striker for the Super Eagles, has been in the news lately because of a huge social media uproar about his new contract with Napoli.

The Nigerian football player will reportedly start receiving N206 million in salary each week from his Italian team, Napoli.

On Saturday, December 23, 2023, the terms of Osimhen's new contract were made official in an online post by international football writer Fabrizio Romano.

He mentioned that Victor Osimhen, who plays for his team Napoli, is currently the most paid player.

The new contract states that Osimhen will remain with Napoli until June 2026 and increases his latest release clause to £100 million.

During the Arise TV morning show, prominent show presenter Ayo Mairo-Ese talked about Osimhen's lucrative new contract.

She counseled Osimhen to save money and invest rather than live extravagantly. Ayo expressed her want to not be informed in the future if someone is creating a GoFundMe page for him for whatever reason.
