Captain Hadiza Oboh was Nigeria's First female pilot.

She flew with the defunct Nigerian Airway and she was single, rich and very glamorous.

She lived alone at Bourdillion, Ikoyi.

She returned from a flight that fateful day, got to her house, security opened the gate, she drove in, they helped her carry her bags in straight to her room, she freshened up and entered the kitchen to cook but she never ate that meal.

Her security invited other accomplice, they entered, snuck behind her from the kitchen door and strangled her with a rope.

Their plan was to move all the foreign currencies, gadgets, gold and so on she had on her (her domestic staff had access to her bedroom).

They killed her and threw her body into a septic tank.

They took cement and sealed up the tank. After that, they went to her house and looted the house, even turning her car to a local taxi.

The remarkable thing is they did not run. Any visitor, "Madam don travel" and they believed.

A senior Police officer neighbour suspected something was wrong and decided to question and investigate her domestic staff.

During investigation, her body was discovered. They were charged to court.

Now due to great ineptitude in Nigeria's judiciary back then in 1998, the suspects posted bail, gave fake addresses and fake names, their sureties also did the same.

Suspects and sureties vanish into thin air.

This was in 1998. This is 2023.

Justice has not been served on Nigeria's Airways First female Pilot.
