Videos, photo of tampered results sheet emerge as off-cycle elections begin

Videos and photos of tampered results sheet has flooded social media as the off-cycle governorship election is underway.

Agents of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) have been accused of tampering with the results sheets in some polling units.

In the videos, number of votes have been seen on the results sheet when party agents pressed the INEC officials to show them the plain results sheet before accreditation begins.

Some of the tampered sheets were seen to have been issued in favour of certain party candidates.

This has since upset candidates and Nigerians who expressed their disappointments at the actions of INEC.

However, the electoral commission has announced that investigation has been launched into allegations that result sheets were forged in some polling units in Kogi state.

Meanwhile, violence, gunshots, snatching of ballot boxes have been recorded in some polling units across the three states conducting the off-cycle elections.

A video of some APC-sponsored thugs have also been arrested with ammunition, cash; worth millions of Naira for vote-buying impounded.
