A post by Chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Dele Momodu on his Instagram page has generated rife debate on social media.

Mr Momodu, in an Instagram post on Sunday, November 5 described popular businessman and entrepreneur, Prince Arthur Eze as the richest Igbo man.

"The richest Igbo man PRINCE ARTHUR EZE is also the "happiest man". He lives a fulfilled life of philanthropy and his home is always swarming with many in need of one support or the other... May God almighty continue to bless him and others like him... May he live long," he wrote.

The description of Mr Eze didn't go down well with some social media users who claimed that the entrepreneur isn't the richest in the region.

According to many who questioned Dele Momodu's claims, the CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum is the richest in his village, Ukpo

"Richest man in his village ukpo, not richest man in Igbo land," one user wrote.

The video shared by Mr Momodu that has now gone viral shows the entrepreneur dancing with some members of his family.

Arthur Eze is a businessman who is CEO of Atlas Oranto Petroleum, the largest privately-owned petroleum exploration and production company in the country.

He was born in the Southern-East of Nigeria, on 27 November 1948. His elder brother Igwe Robert Eze, is the monarch of Ukpo, a town in Dunukofia.
