Peter Obi's smart response when asked if he would work with President Tinubu

Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party in the 2023 election hinted that he would only work with the Bola Tinubu-led administration after the ongoing political process has been concluded.

Obi, who placed third in the February 25 polls is currently challenging the process that saw Bola Tinubu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) emerge as President.

He made this known in an interview on Arise TV on Monday, October 2 when he was quizzed by Ayo Mario-Ese if he would ever work or share ideas with the current administration.

"We are at a point where we are challenging the process. This is part of what makes a nation. The process through which people come into office or assume or achieve anything is far more fundamental than what they thereafter."

"It is important that people come through the right door and not just jump through the window and start saying let us move and let us clean it up, no."

"We are challenging the process and that has to come to a logical end before any other thing. We have to begin to the right thing and right process."
