A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Reno Omokri has berated Peter Obi, the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party.

On Thursday, September 21, Omokri shared a post on his X page tackling Peter Obi for saying he got an advice to stop crime from a madman.

In a video, Peter Obi who was speaking to a group of people revealed that when he was Governor of Anambra state, he got an advice to stop crime in a place called Upper Iweka from a madman.

In his post, Omokri queried Peter Obi for saying he won the 2023 presidential polls by 8.7 million votes.

He added that despite Obi’s claim that the investment he made in Anambra state is worth $100 million, it is allegedly worth $5.38 million currently, thereby calling it a severe loss.

Omokri wrote;

"Peter Obi now claims he won the #NigerianElections2023 by 8.7 million votes? Is this not the same man who claimed that the loss-making brewery he brought employs 60% of Anambra people? And that 100 out of 150 NBA in America are of Nigerian origin? And that his investment in SABMIller for Anambra is now worth $100 million (actually, the Obi government’s investment of $12.24 million is now worth only $5.38 million. A severe loss)

Stop taking advice from madmen at upper Iweka, you will not hear. Now, see your life!” Omokri said.

Recall that President Bola Tinubu was declared winner of the 2023 presidential election, beating Atiku Abubakar who came second and Peter Obi who also came third.

Obi who disagreed with the election results, petitioned the appeal court in an attempt in nulifu Tinubu's victory.

However, the Presidential Election Petition Tribunal affirmed President Bola Tinubu as the winner of the 2023 elections.

The court also dismissed all the petition of Peter Obi and AtikU Abubakar of the PDP.

Obi and Atiku who were not pleased with the appeal court ruling, has since vowed to petition the Supreme Court.
