The Chartered Institute of Bankers of Nigeria will induct 407 newly qualified Associates (Chartered Bankers), and 895 Microfinance Certified Bankers into the Associateship and Microfinance Certified Bankers categories of the institute on Saturday.
This was revealed in a statement signed by the Head, Corporate Communications and Brand Management, Folake Akintayo.
It was added that the induction will provide an avenue for stakeholders to examine the new realities of work in the professional space.
Part of the statement read, “As part of efforts toward ensuring enhanced career development in a fast-paced, ever-changing world in the financial space, bankers and other financial experts across the globe will gather to devise the rapid dynamism of work and the cutting edge strategies that will help financial service professionals to reposition themselves for global relevance.”
The theme of the programme is “The Dynamics of Work and Current Realities: The Way Forward for Financial Service Professionals.”
According to the CIBN, there will be the presentation of prizes to candidates who have distinguished themselves in the various categories of the Institute’s Examinations
Expected at the event are the Director General, Securities and Exchange Commission, Lamido Yuguda and Chairman, Bank Directors Association of Nigeria, Mustafa Chike-Obi.
