Prime Minister of Biafra, Simon Ekpa reveals plan to take 'criminal' governors from South East by surprise

Simon Ekpa, self-acclaimed Prime Minister of Biafra has revealed his plans to surprise the governors from the South East who are reportedly holding a meeting in Abuja.

"The criminal governors from South East are currently meeting in Abuja. We will take them by surprise," he made this known in a post shared on his Twitter page on Saturday, August 5,

In a series of posts, Ekpa announced the end of the first phase of the sit-at-home in the South East.

He urge residents to make use of Saturday and Sunday, August 5, 6 to go about their duties as the second phase of the two week sit-at-home will begin on Monday, August 7, 2023.

He tweeted; "BRGIE @BiafraRGIE Breaking
The first phase of the 2weeks sit at home has come to an end.
Today and tomorrow, you can go out and all the Federal road leading to Biafra is open. The second phase of the 2weeks sit at home start on Monday.
My appreciation to the Biafra people for standing tall.
Our Monday sit at Home Continues."

The sit-at-home order directed by Finland-based Nigerian, Simon Ekpa following the arrest of Nmandi Kanu, the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB.

According to Ekpa, this move is to force the federal government to release Kanu who has been held in the SSS custody for over two years.

He believe that the sit-at-home in the South East will cripple the Nigerians economy.

However, some Governors have called for the end of the sit-at-home in their various states.
