Players of Nigeria's Super Falcons exuded style and joy as they enjoyed a well-deserved day off following their qualification to the round of 16 in the ongoing 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup.

The Super Falcons have been the best-performing African team in this year's Mundial, securing five points and remaining unbeaten in all three group games, finishing just behind co-hosts Australia.

Their next challenge will be against tournament favourites and reigning European champions, England, in what promises to be another tough encounter after navigating through a group that many considered the "group of death."

Despite the upcoming hurdle, the nine-time African champions are optimistic about their chances of causing an upset when they face the Lionesses on August 7, BBC reports.

Taking a break from their intense preparations, manager Randy Waldrum granted his charges a day off.
