Ministerial Screening: 'You will not regret you nominated me' - Wike thanks President Tinubu

Former Governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike says he shares the same passion with President Bola Tinubu in solving the growing problems affecting Nigerians.

Wike, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was instrumental in President Tinubu's victory in Rivers State.

He was nominated alongside 28 others who will likely serve as ministers in the new administration.

"I thank Mr President for nominating me and I believe knowing her hungry Mr President is to solve the problems of the issues of Nigeria, we have no choice but to give him that required support."

"I can assure you that if I am confirmed in whatever capacity, Mr President will not regret you nominated me."

A famous lawyer and politician, Wike served as the sixth governor of the Rivers state between 2015 and 2023.
