'Shameless liability' - Nigerians drag Wike as Tinubu nominates him for ministerial appointments

An old video of former Governor of Rivers state, Nyesom Wike revealing his plans to refuse any ministerial appointments from President Bola Tinubu and the ruling All Progressives Congress has surfaced.

This video emerged after President Tinubu submitted a list containing the names of nominees he has selected for ministerial appointments in his administration.

Among the names read at the national assembly by Senate President Godswill Akpabio, was Nyesom Wike, although it is unknown what sector he will be heading.

Wike's name mentioned among the nominees sparked a massive debate on social media. Many slammed him for his numerous rants which revealed that he planned to refuse any ministerial appointments from Tinubu.

Nigerians took to social media to call out the former Governor for bragging, knowing he was never going to reject the appointment.

Some cautioned that it would be a risk to trust the words of politicians.
